Services

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical  examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health  problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.

Surgical Services:  Our well equipped surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety  of surgical procedures. For advanced surgical procedures we also have a board certified veterinary surgeon available to our patients.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety,  especially for our older or high-risk patients.

Internal Medicine Consults/Ultrasounds:  We offer in-hospital consultations with an internal medicine specialist who can perform ultrasounds, echocardiograms, complex tissue sampling, and help with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We also utilize the veterinary telemedicine service, PetRays, which provides a board certified veterinary radiologist to read all radiographs taken at our facility.

Electrocardiography Services:  We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, dental radiographs, and minor oral surgery.

Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Permanent Identification: We offer microchip identification through Home Again

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products, and heartworm preventatives, to meet the needs of your pet.  We also carry a full line of prescription diets.  In addition we offer many of our preventative flea, tick, heartworm, and deworming products, as well as some medications online for convenient shopping and free delivery directly from our clinic.  Our prices are also highly competitive with many of the online pet prescription companies such as 1-800-PETMEDS, plus you get the added benefit of supporting your veterinarian and a local business, thanks!  Our pharmacy partner, Vets First Choice, can also be used to allow ordering of prescription medications, and compounded drugs online for direct shipping to your home.

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard, and on your pet.

Flea, Tick, and Heartworm Prevention:  You trust us with your pet's health care, why not trust us with flea, tick, and heartworm prevention as well.  Thanks to the support of Merial, the manufacturers of Heartgard and Frontline, we are now able to offer you both these products below the prices of 1-800-PetMeds?.  Plus, shipping to your home is free.  Not only does this price reduction help us provide our clients with more competitively priced products but also puts preventative veterinary products back where they belong:  In the hands of veterinarians.  We are also pleased to offer Merial's newest flea and tick preventative, Nexgard; a convenient monthly chewable treat.

Pet Medication Reminder Service:  Have trouble remembering when to give your pet's medications?  This service provides e-mail and/or text message notification reminding you to give your pet's medications every time they are due.
