After graduation, he completed an internship and residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Heyman became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1993. He is the owner of Surgical Care Specialists and visits Colchester Veterinary Hospital every Thursday to perform complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries for our patients.
